A life´s work; now more current than ever, is completed. Two choirs, one orchestra, and several soloists, of Israeli and Palestinian nationalities are singing of one God, two Nations, and three religions.

Voices for Peace is more unique than any older similar venture on the overcrowded market - it has been blessed by both the XIV. Dalai Lama and by Pope John Paul the II..

In difficult and frightening times, as we are all experiencing now, Timna Brauer accomplished an unique dazzling sound; Orthodox Israeli Jews sing with all their hearts songs praising Allah and Maria. Palestinians of Christian and Muslim Faith, interpretate Jewish Liturgy. Choirs sing for each other.

Timna Brauer acts as Lead Voice and as a thread while brilliantly mastering the stylistic and vocal challenges of Arabic und European music traditions.

The theme of this project concentrates itself on spirituals of the Near East but also Christian pilgrims ballads of the Middle Ages; among others from "Carmina Burana".

Timna Brauer and Elias Meiri sensitively liberated all songs of its antiquated personality and sound, to provide a creative and original interpretation to music that seems to be so contrasting yet comes together as an integral masterpiece
